UI/UX Engineer (React & TypeScript)
Location: Fully Remote • Compensation: Up to €30,000 gross annually + monthly allowance • Hiring bonus: €500 on successful onboarding
About the role
We are looking for a UI/UX Engineer who thinks in systems, codes in React and TypeScript, and cares deeply about the details that make complex interfaces feel effortless. This is not a purely visual role. You'll be equally comfortable translating user needs into component architecture and those architectural decisions into polished product experiences.
What makes this role stand out is the breadth of what you'll work on. You'll contribute across two distinct products.
The first is our client-facing product line. We partner with US-based companies to build and improve sophisticated web platforms, including AI-powered tooling that automates back-office workflows. You'll shape the front-end experience for real users across industries where performance and clarity matter.
The second is something we're building in stealth, and it's the part we're most excited about. It's an enterprise platform in the AI and developer productivity space, built to give engineering and security teams real visibility into how AI is used across their organisation: tracking AI agent activity, measuring the impact of AI on developer workflows, surfacing compliance-relevant signals, and making complex, high-density data readable and actionable. Think sophisticated real-time dashboards, audit-ready interfaces, graph-based visualizations of AI agent behavior, and policy management tooling. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside exceptional talent: an ex-Microsoft engineer (20+ yrs), currently working in the largest healthtech/fintech company in the USA, with prior experience at one of the world's top three AI labs. A Director of DevOps (10+ yrs) who helped grow a tech company from 4 to 40 employees, and who has architected systems serving millions of users.
In the first year, you'll be part of a core team of up to 6 people. This is a rare chance to join at the early stage, with real influence over product direction, design language, and the front-end foundation that the rest of the team will build on. As we scale, you'll have the opportunity to grow into a lead role and help shape the front-end discipline of the company.

What you'll do
- Build and maintain complex React and TypeScript applications across two distinct products
- Design and implement component systems, design tokens, and a scalable front-end architecture
- Create sophisticated data visualizations and dashboards, including real-time activity views, graph-based UI, and coverage reporting interfaces
- Work closely with backend engineers to design clear API contracts and bring data-heavy features to life
- Translate product requirements into high-quality UX flows and interactive prototypes when needed
- Champion accessibility, performance, and clarity across every interface you ship
- Contribute to a fast-moving, startup-like environment where your work ships to real users
What we're looking for
- Strong hands-on experience with React and TypeScript. You build things, not just design them
- A sharp eye for design and a strong grasp of UX principles. You notice when something feels off and you know how to fix it
- Experience building data-dense interfaces: dashboards, tables, graphs, filtering, the works
- Comfort with state management patterns, performance optimization, and component API design
- Ability to work independently and iterate quickly without waiting for pixel-perfect specs
- Curiosity about AI tools, developer productivity, and enterprise software. You understand why these users are demanding
- Experience with design tools (Figma or similar) is a strong plus
- Familiarity with accessibility standards and responsive design
